At a time when society shows confusion and hesitancy over boys' achievement and general welfare, a global network of boys schools has researched and developed strategies and programmes to lead the way in providing appropriate structures and systems to help boys develop a solid work ethic, a balanced life style and skills relevant to the 21st century.

Southland Boys' High School is an active partner in this network.  We are your son's best advocate in education.  Interestingly our programmes are recognised nationally by education administrators and providors.  We recognise that boys are serious about learning and achieving, they just need encouragement, monitoring and, more than ever, a sense of purpose and belonging.

Our programmes and initiatives acknowledge the specific needs of boys' education, such as order, structure, balance, compassion, striving for excellence and recognition of achievement and success.
