Application for Admission as a Boarder

Thank you for your interest in Southland Boys’ High School and Coldstream Hostel. Applications close for 2025 Hostel enrolments on 3 May 2024. 

Requirements are below:

A completed 'Application for Admission as a Boarder Form', as linked below, to be sent to Coldstream Hostel, Southland Boys’ High School, 11 Lees Street, Invercargill, or email [email protected].

Application for Admission as a Boarder

• Please include details of any association with the school.
• Copy of most recent school report.
• Details of any sporting or cultural interests outside the school.
• Details of any medical condition/s your son may have.
• The last day of interviews will be Friday 31 May 2024.

Outline of the Enrolment Process:

1. Application for Admission as a Boarder form and the above information to be received by Coldstream Hostel no later than 3 May 2024.
2. Interviews will be held and concluded by Friday, 31 May 2024. These will be conducted at the Hostel with the Director of Boarding and a school representative.
3. Once accepted, an online enrolment form will be required to be completed.
