A Dinner for Scott - an evening of celebration and fundraising in remembrance of Scott Richardson.
On Saturday 5 August our catering students paid tribute to the late Southland Boys’ High School catering teacher, Scott Richardson, at 'A Dinner for Scott' - a fundraising dinner for the Scott Richardson Memorial Scholarship.
Catering students Caleb Ridd, Ngakau McKerchar, Kiedus Cracknell, Jorden Waldrom, Gabriel McKay-Smith, Lhanz Morales, Thomas Mukri, Kaden Skeggs, Rico Soper, Gerome Steininger, Kupa McKerchar, Caleb Tonkin, Zarien Ward, Alexander Winslade, and Kenny James, along with catering teacher Louise Hitchcock, prepared the canapés for the dinner.
It was a wonderful experience for the students to work with a range of chefs from around the country, learning new skills and experiencing what it's like working in the industry. The students worked extremely hard, and we thank them very much for their dedication. Also, a big thank you to all the Southland Boys’ High students who were waiters for the night.
